**We're looking for an assistant DevOps Engineer to join our Technology Exploration Unit team in Granada, Spain.**

**Our Technology**:
In addition, Safran has great expertise in Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) through several projects in the framework of aerospace with ESA to provide deterministic communications with zero-packet loss. Overall, we deliver highly dependable solutions that always have high accuracy and robust timing at their core.

**The Position**:
The DevOps Engineer plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between development and quality assurance. They are responsible for streamlining the software delivery process, ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of systems while fostering a culture of collaboration between different teams.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
- Monitoring and Logging: Setting up monitoring tools and establishing logging practices to ensure system stability, performance optimization, and proactive issue identification.
- Collaboration and Communication: Facilitating communication between development, operations, and other teams, promoting a collaborative DevOps culture.
- Scripting and Tool Development: Writing scripts and developing tools to automate manual processes and improve system efficiency.

**What you Bring to Safran**:

- 2+ years of experience in DevOps or similar roles.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and automation tools.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
- Containers (Dockers) and containers orchestration
- Strong background in Linux systems administration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
- Ability to work in a team environment, strong problem-solving and organizational skills, good communication and documentation skills.
- Proactive, driven and with the ability of working independently.

**Desirable experience in**:

- Test automation using ROBOT Framework
- C/C++ Programming
- Knowledge in Embedded Systems
- Knowledge in Timing Systems.
- Knowledge in instrumentation equipment (Oscilloscopes, Time/Frequency Counters, etc)
