Further supporting our growth and innovation momentum, we are establishing a new Global Capability Center in Barcelona to deploy new capabilities to effectively support its global commercial and functional teams. Located in the upscale Eixample District in the heart of Barcelona, Galderma’s Global Capability Center offers numerous possibilities for professional development such as exposure to global and cross-functional projects and access to global career opportunities.
The Supply Chain Sustainability Manager is responsible for driving sustainability initiatives within the supply chain organization. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, partners, and stakeholders to develop and implement strategies and projects that promote sustainable practices and reduce environmental impact throughout the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities- Reporting - Develop and implement reporting processes, tools & capabilities to allow sustainability measurements and to support the company strategy by setting the baseline, targets, measuring progress and track the effectiveness of sustainability initiatives - especially in the areas of CO2 emissions (transport) & waste management.- Strategy Development - Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain sustainability strategy aligned with the organization's overall sustainability goals. Conduct thorough assessments to identify areas of improvement, risks and opportunities for sustainability enhancements across the supply chain.- Partners- Collaborate with logistic partners (especially freight forwarders, transportation carriers & Third-party logistic) and conduct regular assessments to evaluate their sustainability performance, compliance with environmental standards, and identify areas for improvement.-
- Provide guidance and support logistic partners in implementing sustainability initiatives, such as carbon footprint reduction, waste management, and ethical labor practices.-
- Collaboration/Operating rythm- Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to raise awareness and promote sustainability initiatives across the supply chain. Develop and maintain effective communication channels to share progress, best practices, and success stories related to supply chain sustainability.-
- Put in place operating rhythm, decisions & communication instances to decide & communicate sustainability goals, achievements, challenges to senior management, internal & external customers, and external partners.-
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as other supply chain functions, plants & markets, procurement, quality, IT and others, to integrate sustainability considerations into their processes and decision-making.-
- Risk management- Identify potential sustainability risks and challenges within the supply chain, such as regulatory compliance, resource scarcity, climate change. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure continuity of supply and minimize negative environmental impact.-
