**Job Summary/Purpose**:

- The key purpose of this role is to support optimization of overall cost and service within STO for all primary goods flows. Provide guidance and support to the shipping sites on all the primary distribution related responsibilities, ensuring the right service providers are being used at the agreed rates. In collaboration with the shipping sites, align on flow optimization, define booking and planning processes as well as ensuring a harmonized process implementation complying with Good Distribution Practices. The role also covers the management of global external transport service providers (Tier 1) in collaboration with procurement. If applicable is being the representative for all Sandoz AG logistics matters related to HUB deliveries.**Your Key Responsibilities**
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- In collaboration with the shipping sites, deploy

harmonized processes in order to achieve best in class and highly competitive logistics operations in global primary transportation for all transport modes (air, sea and road freight)- Oversee and manage processes with CH HUB warehouse, incl. define and keep Business Continuity plan updated
- Support, lead or implement major change processes within international transportation and optimization, focusing on cost optimization and GxP compliance through leveraging the multiple flows across the entire Sandoz network
- Develop and agree on cost and service KPIs based on the target agreed within STO Global Logistics and in alignment with Sandoz Technical Operations
- Ensure end-to-end definition and implementation of standardized and harmonized freight booking, planning and management processes, while driving for a continuous improvement approach ensuring Gx mindset
- Support, lead or implement global logistics projects such as cool chain, route selection and qualification, real time temp monitoring etc.
- Embrace and drive regular interactions and best practice sharing with affiliates and shipping sites (manufacturing sites) ensuring Global Supply Chain priorities and needs are captured.
- Ensure compliance with GxP and regulatory requirements and continuous improvement of quality relevant processes within area of responsibility.
