Plant Operations Manager

Our client, a leading International Company in automotive solutions needs to incorporate an **Operations Manager **responsible for its plant in Valladolid.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**

Competence in operation and supply chain management

Demonstrated organizational, management and leadership skills, to include problem solving, resolving conflicts and adapt to change

Proven experience in similar roles for at least 10 years

Knowledge and skills in occupational risk prevention

Knowledge of LEAN techniques

Analytical, planning and control skills

Skills in trade union relations

Excellent communication and Staff management skills

Flexible, proactive, loyal and ethical

Written and spoken English

Preference for a degree in the technical field

**Responsibilities and operational ACTIVITIES**
- Supervision of the daily activities of the company (Production, Maintenance, Logistics, Quality, -Purchasing (approvals and support) and Process Engineering).
- Business performance and Improvement of business processes, efficiency and management of costs
- Monitoring KPIs, identify and resolve problems in the value chain.
- In collaboration with HC, optimize personnel management; growth plans, compensation systems and day-to-day management (conflicts, lawsuits, union relations...)
- HSE manager - Manage, organize and address safety, occupational health and environmental issues as HSE Manager.
- Staff management - staff growth and relations
- Direct interaction with customers to manage critical issues that arise (quality, pricing, technical issues and deliveries).
- Collaborate in defining the annual Budget, Business Plan and new customers and products
- Spread and disseminate the Lean Lifestyle, involving the staff.
- Responsible for data protection
- Spread the Corporate spirit at all levels by supporting interpersonal relationships with -colleagues at the company's head office.
- Knowledge of the IATF 16949 Standard: Quality Certification for the Automotive Industry
