You will join the **R&D department**. Your mission as a** Project Manager - R&D Engineer** will be to develop and implement new technological lines and new products, to ensure the validation of the industrialization process with the production, engineering, purchasing and planning departments, optimizing product performance, quality, cost and launch times, linking it to a sustainable profitability and use of resources for the company based on expertise in materials, processes, technologies and services.

**Responsibilities**:
As Project Manager - R&D Engineer you will assume the following functions:

- You will develop new product and improvement projects, integrated at international level within the Wound Care Business Division in the execution of the strategy of innovation projects and development and improvement of materials in the healthcare field.
- You will ensure, in the management of suppliers for R&D projects as well as with the other members of the project teams, that optimal launch times, degree of product innovation, quality and costs are met.
- You will define, develop, and optimize the industrialization processes of new products/materials based on existing regulations.
- You will ensure that the activities corresponding to the new processes and materials are carried out efficiently and on time, including planning, evaluation, and coordination of field tests.
- You will perform monthly reporting to the R&D manager.
- You will support in the risk assessment of medical devices and the development of the corresponding documentation.
- You will support the different teams to train on product, technical and testing aspects to be considered during the life cycle and until market withdrawal, ensuring compliance with quality standards under the principles of High Performance, Customer Orientation and Passionate Team.

**What are we looking for?**
- Degree in Chemical, Materials, Industrial or Biomedical Engineering, as well as degrees in Chemistry, Biology, Biomedicine or related health sciences.
- Additional Postgraduate or Master's degree in R&D, Innovation, MBA or Materials Technology (adhesives or plastics) will be an asset.
- Experience of 3 to 5 years in product development positions is required and previous experience in the medical or Adhesives sector is a plus.
- You will work with the rest of the group's subsidiaries as well as with the head office in Europe, so you must have a high level of English.
