**Job Description**:

We are recruiting for a Junior Technology Risk Officer who will be responsible for assessing whether IT security controls are sufficient, appropriately designed, and effectively implemented. Within the Group Assets and Risks department, you will be a part of the Information Risk team, covering risk management for IT Risk Management, Infrastructure, Operations, Development, Cyber and Information Security activities in the EMEA region. Your primary area of expertise will be to contribute to central and local IT Risk Assessments and provide recommendations for business leaders. You may also work on other types of projects in your daily work (e.g., phishing campaigns, IT risk resilience tests, etc.).

The Junior Technology Risk Officer will be responsible for:

- Planning and preparing of IT risk work programmes in relation to specific areas to be evaluated.
- Executing risk and audit assessments in accordance with professional standards, at all levels of the Eurofins organisation within the assigned region: central services, regional infrastructure, laboratories.
- Making relevant recommendations to initiate improvements to Eurofins’ governance, process control, and risk reduction.
- Verbally communicating results in a clear, professional and solution-oriented manner.
- Producing clear and quality reports to formally communicate results to management.
- Following up on the implementation of agreed action plans that aim to mitigate the identified IT risk.
- Maintaining a professional relationship with internal stakeholders and partners (IT teams and those working in the business).

Please note that the** V.I.E contracts **are only applicable to **European Economic Area (EEA) citizens** who are **between 18 and 28 years old**.

**Qualifications**:
**Personal skills**: Open and excited about frequent travel within Europe and/or other regions in world (2/3-day trips twice a month on average). High energy levels, with the drive and passion to negotiate with, influence, and maintain communication with stakeholders of different seniority and backgrounds. Able to work autonomously and spend time on reports but also able to build and maintain business relationships.

**Technical Skills**:MS Office products. Excellent spoken and written English.

**Education**:Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or other relevant field.

**Experience**: 0 to 2 years of experience in performing roles in Information Security and/or in related Control Functions and/or carrying out information systems and security audits, either as an internal or external auditor.
