**Overview**
- Data Engineer will partner with Europe Advanced Analytics COE team to deliver number of Advanced Analytics use cases and data products leading activities around data acquisition, data modelling & architecture, advanced analytics platforms and data science toolkit management. She/He will collaborate with Data Scientists and IT Data & Analytics teams to design and develop data concepts and digital solutions, and to help industrialize ML solutions.

**Responsibilities**
- Data Engineering Infrastructure:
- Design, Support, Tools, Tuning, Integration- Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data- Build analytics tools & Provide support to other teams- Design interfaces for data integration- Performance tuning- Data platform support
- Security, Act as guardians of the data:
- Access Management, Security configuration, Supervision- Keep data secured- Design processes for Access Management- Warrant the data is Valid, Accurate, Relevant, Granular, Consistent, Accesible
- Data Consultancy & Governance & Data Quality:
- Responsible for Data Modeling- Responsible for Data Governance, Data Quality- Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues- Implements processes and systems to monitor data quality- Design, support and help Data Governance processes- Design models for data storage, integration, exploration and consume
- Data Pipelines:
- Create & Maintain optimal data pipeline architecture- Identify, design, and implement data process improvements (automating, optimizing, re-designing,)- Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements

**Qualifications**- 4 years’ experience- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science,- Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or any other technology related field.- Advanced working SQL knowledge and deep understanding of relational and warehousing database technology- Experience building and optimizing ‘big data’ data pipelines, architectures and data sets.- Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement- Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management- Working knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable ‘big data’ data stores.- Software development skills. Programming in Python, R, Scala. Other languages from different paradigms will be considered- Databricks & Spark programming experience. Parallel processing- Experience with relational SQL databases- Proven experience with delivery of complex Data migration/conversion or Analytics apps- Proven experience with designing and implementing Data maintenance & quality processes & tools- Experience with Azure: Azure Data Lake, Blob Storage,- ML Services, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, other Azure tools- Any other experience with cloud platforms will be valuable (e.g. AWS, GCP)- Nice to have - Data Science skills. Administration of DS development tools (JupyterLab, RStudio). Data visualization. Knowledge of main libraries for data science and machine learning algorithms- Must be a strong team player with effective teamwork skills- Good CPG Business process knowledge- Must be a quick learner and self-motivated.- Used to work in Agile projects and fast delivery pace environments- Ability to solve highly complex problems within work team and foster high level of collaboration remotely in a multi-cultural international environment- Proficient business level English. Verbal and written communications skills- Ability to work under pressure, with little supervision Proactiveness is essential
