**SUPPLY CHAIN CONSULTANT - SPAIN, NORTH-EAST**

We are UPS, the world's largest package delivery company. We are looking for a Supply Chain Consultant to join our Solutions Department in Spain.

**JOB SUMMARY**

The Supply Chain Consultant is responsible for promoting and initiating sales revenue for defined sales territories. You will work directly with the Patch of Land Sales Team to explore solutions sales leads and identify solutions opportunities. This position develops a thorough understanding of customer processes and business objectives and capitalizes on the value UPS can offer their business. You will create value for customers by leveraging UPS's expertise in the areas of engineering, technology, finance, and supply chain design. This position provides consultative sales support to the UPS sales organization to enhance and improve customers' businesses using value-added and configurable solutions.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Attends Business Development sales meetings and customer events to represent Customer Solutions.
- Participate in strategy meetings with Sales & Sales management to identify customer opportunities where UPS Solutions can be positioned.
- Conducts research to understand the customer's business (e.g., goals, volume, trends, etc.), to maximize discussions on value add solutions.
- Evaluates customers' business (e.g., processes, issues, needs, etc.) by Supply Chain Mapping and propose viable solutions to obtain financial, quality, and process improvements, to increase cost savings, enhance efficiency, and build and strengthen partnerships.
- Facilitates in-person/virtual meetings with customers and solution experts to address project implementation, challenges and modifications. Demonstrates solution functionality, solicits feedback and addresses questions.
- Prepares customer proposals and presentations to demonstrate the value added from UPS's solutions and propose new ideas, methods, and technology for streamlining processes, to grow the business and obtain customers' commitment.
- Maintains customer relationships to ensure solutions meet customers' needs and expectations.
- Documents and reports account activity (e.g., virtual customer visits and phone calls, training, etc.) to ensure account team members are informed of customer activity.
- Documents solutions in the project management tool and logs customer calls and virtual meetings on the account management system to report account activity and ensure account team members are informed of customer activity.
- Conducts formal and informal training (i.e., technology solutions) to ensure the sales force remains current with UPS solutions and enhancements.
- Registers customers for products and delivers product training to ensure customers have the education and information to use UPS's products effectively.
- Prepares and presents reports (e.g., trends, technology initiatives, etc.) to provide relevant and current information to the district sales staff.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferred in Supply Chain, Economics, Business, etc.)
- Previous experience in Logistics, Consultancy, Customer Facing or Sales
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communicator, including verbal, written, active listening, assertive, and presentation skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, good at networking with a high level of empathy, able to work collaboratively with team members and as well function independently
- Effective time management, specifically in the areas of planning, organization, and project execution
- Good at problem-solving enjoys challenges, is tenacious and motivated, & is an "out of the box" thinker
- Proficient in Microsoft office tools with the ability to use project management and presentation
- Fluent in English and Spanish, both verbal and written (other languages are a plus)
- Valid driver's license (a company car is provided)
