The Junior 3D Artist will work closely with the CG Lead and production team in following up and referencing the art department work, meeting work quality standards and deadlines and validating production outcomes, while receiving instructions and training from the Lead and Supervisor as supporting part in the development of projects.

**Duties and Responsabilities**:

- Active supporting work in the creation of photorealistic assets and development of shots, in collaboration with the VFX/CG Lead and Supervisor
- Working closely with CG Leads and Supervisors to understand the best approach to finalizing 3D tasks and challenges as part of the process in the developing of the final look
- Perform generalist tasks such as modelling, texturing, look dev., layout and lighting
- Staying on schedule and meeting tasks deadlines, bringing the strongest skills to the team and working actively in improving performance on all other CG areas, while maintaining the high expected levels of quality
- Participate in department meetings when necessary

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- BA in Animation/Art/CG related field degree, or equivalent experience
- 6 months of experience in VFX using Maya and/or Houdini preferable
- Skills in tracking, modelling, texturing, shading, lighting, animation and/or compositing
- Additional Skills in Character/Creature Animation skills, Rigging, Character FX is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with colleagues and supervisors
- Efficient and functional English language level
