- Required:

Experience in clinical trial design and execution, specific expertise in liver diseases/NASH will be valued.
Experience in designing, implementing, and disseminating scientific projects in international settings.

Good skills in oral and written English, other languages will be appreciated
Desired:

Specialization in Internal Medicine or Gastroenterology through the MIR system

- Main responsibilities and duties:

- Provide sub-investigator oversight for all clinical trials and clinical support to the study coordinators.
- Perform physical exams and patient assessments as allowed by the sponsor.
- Review and sign patient lab results, ECGs, and other clinical assessments.
- Conduct study recruitment, patient screening, patient consenting.
- Participate in Site Selection visits, Site Initiations, and Investigator meetings.
- Maintain security and confidentiality.
- Review and assist coordinators with serious adverse events documentation.
- Support the principal investigator in the research activities related to NASH: national and international competitive projects. Includes preparation of scientific manuscripts, attending high level meetings, transfer knowledge and training in hepatic diseases (NASH), hosting meeting and preparing project presentations.
- Support in promotion of new projects, writing and submission of project proposals.

Labour conditions:

- Full-time/Part-time position: 40h/week.
- Starting date: March 2023
- Gross annual salary: 30 000 - 40 000 euros (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
- Contract**:_permanent linked to project_
- Permanent contract will be made if one of the assumptions established in the General State Budget of 2020 is fulfilled. Otherwise, the position will be temporarily covered by an interim contract until the fiscal and financial measures established by General Budgets of the Generalitat de Catalunya and the basic regulations of the General State Budgets authorize a new call for the place with an indefinite contract.
