**The Company**

Our client is a cutting-edge software company, headquartered in Chicago, specializing in global payments, payroll, and Employer of Record (EOR) solutions. Our client's software empowers global organizations to efficiently manage their workforce across multiple countries while seamlessly executing payroll processes.

**The Role**

As the Head of Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in leading our engineering team to develop and enhance our EOR technology platform. You will be responsible for driving technical excellence, overseeing software development, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver solutions that redefine the EOR landscape.
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Define and execute the technology roadmap to enhance our EOR platform, aligning with business objectives.
- Collaborate with product management to translate business requirements into scalable and robust technical solutions.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, ensuring code quality, security, and scalability.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a technical leader or Head of Engineering in a technology-driven environment.
- Strong background in software development, preferably with experience in HR technology or global employment solutions.
- Expertise in JavaScript technologies, Node.js, React.js, and familiarity with TypeScript.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and driving technical innovation.
- Experience in collaborating with stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and strong communication skills.
