**OVERVIEW OF THE VICE PRESIDENT (VP), MARKETING OPERATIONS & PLANNING ROLE**:
As a member of the Executive Team, accountable for overall leadership in achieving mission performance and positive organizational health; and actively participate in the Team’s responsibilities as the top-level decision-making body for matters that require broad consensus.
- Participate as a Senior member of the Marketing & Community Relations leadership team to plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee donor recruitment activities, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization.
- Leverage our brand-building and take “leads” to the next stage of the acquisition funnel by utilizing data to support multi-channel performance in service of our business lines. This includes collaboration with the VP, Donor Services to integrate our recruitment initiatives with our collection’s operations—lining up the collection’s capacity to the right regions based on population characteristics and behavior. The role will be looking at short
- and long-term data to optimize performance per channel to help us achieve our business goals—how we “cultivate and catch our donors” once we have them in the funnel.

**SALARY RANGE FOR THE VP, MARKETING OPERATIONS & PLANNING: $197,716 - $304,067 annually**

- Develop and lead strategies to ensure success in a dynamic world
- By exception, intervene to solve the most intractable and complex operating challenges
- Discussion and exchange of views on topics that affect the organization broadly
- Share information to raise awareness, improve collaboration, and identify interdependencies
- Ensure healthy social relationships between Executives, reinforcing “One Team” mindsets and behaviors

- Participate in setting of direction, vision, values, and policy for the organization, consistently model values, and coach and mentor for same expectation.
- Role model exemplary vertical and horizontal teamwork, with active support of cross-functional activities
- Provide skillful, timely and honest feedback to fellow Executive Team members and actively solicit the same
- Collaborate, challenge, and offer support to fellow executives to ensure each department is contributing to the success of the organization
- Use data and analytical thinking in planning, making decisions and solving complex problems
- Identify and resolve ambiguity with a focus on outcomes
- Provide leadership and guidance to the Leadership Team
- Create continuous dialogue that is timely, trusted, and transparent
- Ensure the safety of the workforce through administration of safety policies and monitoring of safety incidents.
