Dance Competition Videographer

We are seeking a camera operator to film a dance competition for 5 days at the Teatre-Auditori Sant Cugat. Cameras and gears are not required. Ideally, we are looking for a camera operator/videographer who appreciates the art of dance. A portion of the performances will be livestream via Youtube, but our team will set up. Must be able to speak conversational English to work with our team and client. Thank you

**Important**:Dance competitions are long full-day events, stamina is a must. Please review the hours.

**Hours**:
Wednesday, Dec 6th, 11:00am to 9:30pm

Thursday, Dec 7th, 10:45 am to 10:00pm

Friday, Dec 8th, 9:45 am to 10:00pm

Saturday, Dec 9th, 10:00am - 9:45pm

Sunday, Dec 10th, 12:15 am -10:00 pm

**Compensation**: 275 to 325 euros / day, **1550 euros for all 5 days**

**Payment: Payment in cash at the conclusion of the event (or partial payments on the 3rd day)**

**Qualifications**
- Experience operating a video camera
- Knowledgeable in Canon line cameras preferred (Camera for this event is a Canon C70)
- Experience shooting live performances; experience or interest in dance is a plus
- Degree in film production, videography, video production, or similar preferred, but not required.

**Responsibilities**
- Filming dance performances at ballet competition
- Professional demeanor in front of clients and audience while on the shoot
