**MISSION**:
Part of a team providing general administrative support to the health and safety team. The HSE Trainee will be responsible for enforcing the concept of a safe work environment for the organization’s staff, ensuring that the organization complies with the current Health and Safety policies that are being implemented.

Support the Occupational Health and Safety department to ensure compliance with the legal requirements defined in the Prevention Law 31/95, as well as preparing the system for certification to ISO 45001.

Support the department in the Health and Safety management at a global level of the company.

**FUNCTIONS**:

- Guarantee the Health and Safety management system according to the PRL Law 31/1995 and ISO45001 standard:

- Maintenance and follow-up of Health and Safety KPI's.
- Follow-up of objectives. Participate in planning and preventive objectives and their follow-up.
- Manage and keep updated the evaluation documents of the work center (jobs and regular and specific tasks).
- Review health and safety procedures, as well as elaborate new procedures and instructions.
- Support and coordinate the communication processes related to Safety.
- Facilitate training and information on risks according to the position to new personnel. Coordinate training or other required activities with the External Prevention Service.
- Participate in the review of the emergency plan and periodic drills.
- Support and promote incident and accident communication project.
- Coordinate with the medical area of the SPA the planning of health surveillance.
- Follow-up of non-conformities derived from risk assessments, audits or safety walks.
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of the management system according to ISO 45001:2018.

**Educational Background**:
bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering,, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Organization, Occupational Safety, master's degree in occupational or another closely related field of study.

**Key Knowledge**:

- Mandatory:

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Regulated training in Environmental, Health & Safety
- Desirable:

- Previous experience to safety practices in a workplace.

**Languages**:

- Fluent written and spoken English.

**Personal competences**:

- Strong communication, and Knowledge of administrative and organizational skills necessary to carry out job description responsibilities.
- Willing to take on responsibility.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.

**What we offer?**
- Benefit: 720 euros gross per month.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday from 08h00 to 14h00 or from 09h00 to 15h00.
- Duration of the internship: From 6 to 12 months. Ideally, we are looking for someone who could join us for 12 months.
