Automotive Aftermarket Europe manufacture products in Spain and Belgium, and commercialize around the globe serving markets in Europe, Middle East, Russia, Asia and Africa.

**Job Description**:
Reporting to the Division IT Manager, the System Administrator manages the IT operations in the factory in Andoain and provides support to remote locations working alongside the rest of the IT team following ITW guidelines.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for the sourcing, installation, configuration, maintenance, reliable operation of infrastructure including laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, internet access, LANs, WANs, and network segments.
- Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance.
- Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
- Monitor system performance to ensure optimum and secure performance.
- Provide documentation and technical specifications of infrastructure.
- Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
- Management of the telephone system.
- Take responsibility for projects and solutions within the larger business initiative.
- Provide L2 users help desk support for on premise and remote users when incidents are escalated or require physical presence with the device.
- Configure, deploy and maintain Windows based PCs, Laptops, tablets, Apple OS iMacs, mobile phones (Android, iOS).
- Document any processes which employees need to follow in order to successfully work within our computing system.
- Perform employee IT onboarding and users training on new technologies.

**Qualifications**:

- ** Academic background**: FP Grado Superior ASIR (Administración de Sistemas Informáticos en Red); Grado en Ingeniería informática; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration or equivalent experience required.
- ** Professional experience background**: 3 to 5 years of network and servers’ administration.
- ** Technical skills**:

- Strong knowledge/Expertise: virtualization, Windows Servers, Active Directory, networking protocols, vLANS
- Working Knowledge: Linux, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, cloud computing (Azure), SQL operations, firewalling
- Experience with scripting and automation tools
- Availability outside of normal working hours to resolve emergency issues or to deploy new services.
- ** Certifications**: Vendor certifications are a plus (MSCE, Linux, Cisco etc )
- ** Languages**: Spanish (Fluent), English (Upper Intermediate/B2), Euskera (Desirable)
- ** Soft Skills**:

- Good verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English. Confident in communicating with staff at all levels. You must be self-motivated, with a can-do attitude and a strong commitment to team-work and customer service.

- The best system administrator will also be a team player, willing to handle all support requests with courtesy and professionalism.

- This position is based on site in Andoain, Spain. Remote working 2 days per week possible.
