The Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) is a cutting-edge institute addressing global public health challenges through research, translation into policy and education. - Barcelona**What We Are Looking for**:
We are recruiting a technician to join our dynamic team. The technician will be primarily involved in data collection and data analysis of environmental and occupational exposures and health outcomes in epidemiological research as part of the EPHOR (Exposome project for health and occupational research) project. The overall project goal is to develop a working-life exposome toolbox. In particular, better knowledge will be developed on how the working life exposome relates to NCDs, including complex interactions, vulnerability, biological pathways and early signs of health damage, by uniquely combining large-scale pooling of existing cohorts.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement No. 874703, Exposome project for health and occupational research (EPHOR).

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Work with an international team to collect data, develop and conduct analysis of occupational exposures with an international team. Provide new evidence of the impact of occupational exposures on the risk of major NCDs, through analyses of occupational exposures and risk factors across the life-course.

**SPECIFIC DUTIES**:
Data collection, Statistical analysis, database management.

**AUXILIAR TASK**:
This job description reflects the present requirements of the post but may evolve at any time in the future as duties and responsibilities change and/or develop providing there is appropriate consultation with the post-holder.

**TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE /QUALIFICATIONS**:
BSc or MSc in statistics, epidemiology, or related field.

**SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS**:
Statistical analysis of epidemiological data, data collection, field work.

**SKILLS**:

- Teamwork.
- Problem resolution.
- Learning capacity.

- Duration: 6 months

- Contract: (part or full time) Full time
- Salary Range: Technician IIB

**SELECTION PROCESS**:
The selection process is designed in two phases:
1- Interview phase of a technical nature, with the team that requires the incorporation. To assess the person's skills and CV.
2 - Meeting with HR with the finalist(s) to finish assessing the profile and discuss contractual and institutional issues.

If needed any technical test could be pass. A Psychological Competency Evaluation Test will be required for the structural or transversal positions.
