**About Global Minds International School**:
Global Minds International School is a pioneering educational establishment set to open in September 2024. Located in the picturesque region of Costa Blanca, just a short drive from the vibrant coastal towns of Denia, Javea, Moraira, Calpe, and Altea, our school offers the British curriculum (with intention to become an IB school). **Role Overview**:
As the Headteacher, you will be instrumental in shaping the educational landscape of Global Minds International School. You will lead the establishment and development of our school’s academic programs, culture, and operational routines, ensuring alignment with our mission to provide a world-class, internationally-minded education. You will also be instrumental in recruiting and developing a committed team of educators and staff. Your visionary leadership will be crucial in setting high standards of teaching and learning, promoting excellence, innovation, and the well-rounded development of our students.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Establish and promote the highest standards of educational excellence.
- Lead the recruitment, management, and development of teaching and administrative staff, creating a professional culture of high expectations and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement a strategic vision for the school that integrates the British curriculum and the process of authorisation towards becoming an authorised IB World School.
- Oversee the school's educational programs, ensuring they meet the needs of a diverse student body.
- Manage operational and administrative functions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and achieve organisational efficiency.
- Cultivate a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Engage with the school community, building strong relationships with staff, parents, and external stakeholders.
- Drive initiatives that enhance the school’s reputation and educational provision.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the school’s policies and practices in achieving educational goals.
- Manage budgeting, resource allocation, and staffing effectively to support the school’s educational objectives.

**Qualifications and Skills Required**:

- Extensive leadership experience in an educational setting, with a preference for familiarity with the British curriculum and International Baccalaureate.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage teaching staff effectively. Experience in team building, particularly in a startup or new school setting is very beneficial.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage an educational team effectively.
- Strong understanding of the curriculum, teaching methods, and educational technology.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proven track record of managing school operations successfully.
- Ability to foster a collaborative, inclusive, and innovative school culture.
- Strategic thinker with robust problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
