We are searching for a Community Sites Manager to join our Moodle Community team

**What your new job can look like**

As Community Sites Manager, you will be proactive in building and enhancing Moodle community engagement in a variety of ways. With the pace of Moodle, no two days will ever be the same But most days will involve a mix of:

- Managing the upgrades and improvements to Moodle.org and related websites using Agile management methodologies.
- Researching, planning and implementing initiatives for enhancing community engagement.
- Recognising contributions and finding ways to encourage community contributions, ensuring voices are heard and fostering a positive culture.
- Creating and supporting community networks, onboarding new members and running online events (e.g. webinars).
- Being active on moodle.org, making regular posts targeted at community engagement initiatives.

This role can be based anywhere in Europe In Spain as an employee, or as a Contractor everywhere else - just let us know where you are when you apply.

**Requirements**:
**We'd love to meet you**

Especially if you can talk to us about your:

- Experience leading a team using Agile project management methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluency in English; other languages a bonus.
- Research and organisation skills.
- Ability to work closely at all levels with all stakeholders and build relationships.
- Self-motivation, with the ability to both work independently and within a team.
- Experience as a Moodle community member, or a member of another open-source software company.
- Strong understanding of how open source communities function.
