**What is the objective of this project (POSITION)? What is the expected result?**

We are looking for engineers to be part the Aerothermal Technology and Systems Department, within the aerodynamic design section. The aerodynamic design section includes the discipline of aerodynamics and the discipline of aeroacoustics of the different components and systems developed at ITP. You will work for military projects such as the FCAS and R+T projects focused on Air Transport sustainability and decarbonisation.

Your Tasks will be:

- Aerodynamic and aeroacustic design and analysis tasks.
- To guarantee compliance with functional design criteria.
- To participate in the development of new aerodynamic and aeroacoustic technologies applied to new products.
- To interact with specialists from different disciplines involved in design such as heat transfer or design and mechanical analysis.

**What profile are we looking for?**
- **Education**: Master's in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent
- **Experience in**: No experience necessary
- **Knowledge in**:

- Operation of gas turbines and their components
- Fluid mechanics
- Aerodynamics
- Aeroacoustics
- CFD simulation
- Work in Linux environment, C++ programming, Python
- Desirable: Heat transfer, CFD commercial codes (OpenFoam, Fluent )
- **Languages**: high level of English

**What training will you receive to be able to carry out the work?**

You will receive training on functional design methodology adapted to the projects you participate in; use of aerodynamic/aeroacoustic simulations, prediction of aerodynamic losses and noise levels, pre
- and post-processing methodology for CFD simulations.

Continuous training in all those aspects that are necessary for the work.
