We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join the fast-paced and demanding environment of Services deliveries in Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Supply Chain. Our target is to improve our material flow and be able to perform as a world-class supply chain. The position is based in Bilbao, Spain.

As Logistics Coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring the on-time delivery of our customer deliveries for our Spanish projects to customers in Spain and the rest of EMEA, as well as return deliveries for parts and equipment sent for service from Spain to our production units or subcontractors mainly in the EMEA area.

You will be part of a growing virtual team and expanding operations with the opportunity to contribute to building world-class logistics operations.

Your tasks:

- You will handle transportation bookings, prepare shipping documents, and ensure that especially Services export but also importation clearances flow smoothly and with correct information. In addition, you will act as a logistics expert and support for Services business deliveries to Spain.
- You will work with different Valmet groups and businesses to ensure efficient material flow.
- In this role, you must be capable of effectively and accurately working on several tasks at the same time and organize and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- You are in a key role to identify opportunities or potential bottlenecks and participate actively in developing our logistics processes and tools supporting the process.
- You will be part of a growing virtual team and expanding operations with the opportunity to contribute to building world-class logistics operations.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

- B.Sc. logistics, supply chain, or related field
- 3 years of working experience in a similar position
- Basic knowledge of customs and tax regulations, as well as transport regulations
- Fluent in Spanish and English, other languages are considered a benefit
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, Windows, and ERP systems
- High level of commitment and proactive approach
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiations skills
- Ability to work under time pressure
- Ability to understand complex tasks
- Readiness for occasional business trips
