**Job Title: DCS Finance Manager: Southern and Eastern Europe**

**Job Overview**:
As a DCS RFM, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all legal, tax and financial reporting requirements of multiple DCS countries. You will prepare and analyse financial statements, maintain accurate and timely financial records, and ensure that all accounting practices follow established accounting principles and regulatory standards. The countries that you will primarily support are Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Romania, Hongkong and the United States.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and file financial statements and reports for Spain such as regulatory bodies, investors, and creditors.
- Work with third party providers for preparation and audit of local financial statements and submission of local statutory returns in all 5 countries.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to financial reporting, including International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and local regulations.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with group accounting policies and procedures, working collaboratively with other teams, including tax, legal, and business representatives.
- Participate in financial audits and ensure that all audit requirements are met.
- Build relationships with external stakeholders such as tax authorities, auditors, and advisory consultants to ensure local tax and statutory compliance.
- Support DCS management as required on taxation items, including leading on local tax inquiries and answering tax enquiries (internal queries raised by DCS Finance).
- Assisting head of tax with tax audits (liaison with local tax authorities in conjunction with third party consultants).
- Ensuring local tax obligations (such as VAT etc) are fulfilled in a timely manner including reviewing VAT returns for all 5 countries, including tax filing and payments.

**Qualifications**:

- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- CPA or equivalent professional certification required.
- 3-5 years of experience in statutory accounting and tax compliance.
- Strong knowledge of Spanish GAAP and local tax requirements
- Experience with financial statement preparation and audit processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently on all levels of the organisation and build strong working relationships with business partners and other finance resources
- Proficiency in Microsoft office and SAP (preferred)
