About the job

The role of MSL brings the Therapeutical Approach strategy and objectives to life. To identify, build and leverage relationships with regional or local KOL’s in specific Therapeutic Areas. To provide internal and external education based on scientific and objective insights and information and to serve as technical and scientific support ensuring safe and effective medical positioning of our offering.

This role is the bridge into the top line triangle: marketing, sales and medical, and into the relationships between KOLS, patients and Scientifics societies, and support to market access. The role is a field based role (80% working in the field with KOLs/HCPs & Area Managers/Medical Sales Representative) and strong collaboration in the related TA with Medical Manager.

**This position is based on Madrid.**

**What we will be your challenges?**
- Direct scientific exchange for a specific Therapeutic Area including presentations to external audiences and internal medical affairs and commercial partners.
- Work on execution of the scientific and communication strategy for a specific Therapeutic Area.
- Deliver timely, accurate, specific and balanced responses to professional requests for information in collaboration with medical team.
- Lead journal reviews and team discussions and coordinate and facilitate internal training initiatives.
- Deliver timely adverse event reporting and responses to unsolicited requests for detailed product/service and disease state information.
- KOL engagement through criteria based selection and validation to identify and confirm key opinion leader status for the specific Therapeutic Area.
- Manage local scientific projects (evidence generation, medical education) for a specific Therapeutic Area.
- Work Field-based, supporting regional sales managers, and liaising with field-based colleagues from sales.
- Develop a complete understanding of national and regional experts in a specific Therapeutic Area and the healthcare environment.
- Collaborate with internal business partners as an expert consultant to meet specific scientific needs of internal and external contacts within specific Therapeutic and geographic areas.
- Manage routine contacts with KOL’s including speaker training and evaluation, advisory board support and coordination or presentation and liaise between KOL’s and internal partners.

About you

For you to succeed in this position, you must have scientific and medical evidence, key messaging, strategic stakeholder management, impactful scientific communication, project management, scientific experience and research experience. We believe that is positive to have:

- A life sciences (or similar) graduate.
- At least 5 years as Medical, Sales Representative or similar functions.
- Regional/Local Stakeholders management experience.
- Fluent English (Scientific journal ).
- Sales Knowledge.
- Strong Collaboration Skills (internal/external).
