Hero Energy is a brokerage and trading company. We operate in the Petroleum, Oil and Gas, Renewables, and carbon sectors. We help organizations such as Oil Refineries, traders, factories, etc. in attaining their climate and sustainability objectives, along with diverse mandates like biofuels and carbon emissions.

**What you’ll do**
As a sales trader your main role will be to create, manage, and expand your own portfolio of clients, using your strong interpersonal and communication skills to gain your clients’ confidence.

You will be trained in one of the most exciting industries, Oil and Gas, maintaining communication with some of the biggest enterprises in the world. From there on you will take your own trading decisions on how to best execute the trade.

A key role in this job is to find your own prospects and through extensive cold calling you will break down barriers and go the extra mile to ensure you stand out to clients.

Since the company is a start-up on a growing process you will be growing with the company. You will work closely with the Founder and CEO, who is involved in the Commercial side of the business, he has years of experience in sales and in the Oil and Gas sector, you will benefit of the learning opportunity.

**Who you are**:

- An outgoing and ambitious professional with (preferably) some experience or at least an affinity with finance or sales.
- You make easy contact with other people in any situation and easily create relationships with anyone around you.
- You are proficient in English.
- Have an University Degree, preferably in Finance / Business Administration.
- Have an entrepreneurial spirit, are self-motivated and keep going even when things get tough.
- You are also eager to learn, welcome constructive criticism and are not afraid to fail and try again.
- You want to create a future, learning skills in one of the most important industries of Petroleum and Gas.
