**We are currently seeking an Engineering Manager to support building our Barcelona team.**

**About the job**:
The role of Engineering Manager involves embracing some interesting challenges around designing for the future of Telavox's growth.

Your main focus will be:
Grow (recruit) and scale a team of SW Developers.

Focus on talent through a mix of coaching, performance measurement, employee growth & retention.

Product delivery using an agile mindset.

Responsibility for evolving and executing on the product and technology roadmaps. You will own the tech stack and its evolution.

Active participation, as part of the Product Area’s management team, in strategic discussions that shape and evolve the product area which consists of 4-5 teams and 25+ colleagues.

Tech-wise, you will ensure we make the right choices in terms of tools and technologies for your area.

Your main objective will be to build a self-sufficient and highly motivated team of Software Engineers, focused on making our customers’ lives easier and more productive.

A technology background to facilitate strategic technical discussions.If you still enjoy coding and design then there’s scope to do some of that too - but it's not a requirement for the role.

Previous leadership experience managing people and teams.

Being a servant leader, enabling success through others.

Understanding the "Why" and being able to articulate it to your team.

Prior experience in telecommunications but no worries if that’s not the case
