**Education Project Manager. IMM-Care project**

**Teaching Unit/ Strategy Area**

**IMM-CARE: BOOSTING CLINICAL RESEARCH FOR THE BENEFIT OF SOCIETY**. VHIR leads the WP on

Training, and the Project Manager will give support to the team involved in the project for an excellent execution

to facilitate and promote high-quality, innovative and effective training programmes that align with the institute´s

strategic goals.

**Education and qualifications**:
**Required**:

- University degree, preferably in life sciences or related fields.

**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required**:

- Proven experience in training activities, management and coordination tasks. Ability to autonomously

coordinate project partners and supervise tasks´ execution in projects of certain complexity.
- Proven experience in European collaborative projects´ coordination and management tasks, preferably in the

field of health research and education.
- Full proficiency in English and good command of Spanish and/or Catalan.
- Excellent communication and influence skills with ease of dealing with senior international scientists, healthcare

professionals and the rest of the team and stakeholders involved in the project.

- Due to the fact that the position is aimed to join a collaborative project with a research institute based in Lisbon,

availability to travel is required.

**Desired**:

- PhD in life sciences-related field will be highly valued.
- Complementary training in project management and/or people development and talent management will be a

plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge about physician-scientists career pathway and their opportunities for research

training.
- Previous experience working as training manager or organizer in health research institutions and/or hospital

environments will be a plus.
- Good IT skills, especially practical experience with Learning Management Systems (i.e. Moodle) will be an

asset.
- Practical experience in survey design and data analysis will also be beneficial.
- Personal skills: strong organisational and planning capacities, proactive, results-oriented professional with close

attention to detail and with the ability to work under tight deadlines. Team player with excellent interpersonal

skills.

**Main responsibilities and duties**:

- Contribute to define the training strategy of the IMM-Care project to create a translation continuum from bench

to bedside and vice versa, improving the interplay between basic, translational and clinical research groups.
- Planning, implementation and monitoring of the different task of project’s training work package.
- Design and perform training needs´ assessment to define the target groups and customise the educational

content.
