**Dentro del área de Regulation & Internal Control, la unidad de Validación Interna tiene como misión la validación de modelos de Riesgo del Grupo BBVA, trabajando en la elaboración de informes con otros miembros del equipo y liderando la ejecución de reportes concretos.

**About the job**:
De acuerdo a la Política de Gestión del Riesgo de Modelo, y con objeto de colaborar en la mitigación de este, Validación Interna somete a los modelos relevantes utilizados para la gestión y control de los riesgos del Grupo BBVA a un contraste efectivo, como tercero independiente de aquellos que lo han desarrollado o lo utilizan, con objeto de garantizar su exactitud, robustez y estabilidad.

Este proceso de revisión no se restringe al momento de la aprobación, o de la introducción de cambios en los modelos, sino que se enmarca en un plan que permite realizar una evaluación periódica de los mismos, dando lugar a la emisión de recomendaciones y acciones mitigantes de las deficiencias identificadas.

El resultado de estos ejercicios será la emisión de informes para su envío a los órganos de gobierno del Banco y a los supervisores europeos.

Buscamos a una persona con los siguientes requisitos:

- Grado en Estadística, Matemáticas, Ingeniería, Física u otras licenciaturas con buena base matemática, estadística y/o de programación.
- Necesario conocimientos de econometría y técnicas de análisis de series temporales.
- Necesaria experiência de al menos tres años en el desarrollo, calibración o validación de modelos de Cálculo de Capital (IRB Systems) y/o modelos de cálculo de provisiones (IFRS9):

- Análisis y revisión de calidad.
- Coherencia y robustez de los datos.
- Procesos involucrados en los modelos.

Nível de inglés mínimo B2.
- Capacidades
- Necesaria capacidad de análisis y síntesis; actitud proactiva, capacidad de trabajo en equipo y en entornos multidisciplinares.
- Necesaria proactividad e iniciativa para realizar propuestas de mejora continua.
