Tu cometido será dirigir y orientar a un equipo de técnicos/as expertos/as con el objetivo de garantizar la fiabilidad de las instalaciones.
Key job responsibilities
- Brindar apoyo a los miembros de tu equipo en el cumplimiento de las políticas y los procedimientos de seguridad en el lugar de trabajo.
- Implementar las normas de la red de la UE, planificar las tareas de mantenimiento preventivo y garantizar la disponibilidad técnica.
- Colaborar con el resto del personal para recopilar y analizar datos con el objetivo de mejorar los procesos.
- Ejecutar y supervisar proyectos tanto a nível local como en toda la red.
- Dirigir, apoyar y orientar a los miembros de tu equipo para que puedan desarrollarse profesionalmente.
A day in the life
Trabajarás en uno de nuestros centros operativos, lo que te permitirá ofrecer orientación práctica a tu equipo y tener una visión clara de lo que ocurre en tu centro. Esto implica recopilar datos y resolver problemas en un ambiente de trabajo dinámico. También tendrás la oportunidad de crear un plan de operaciones para aumentar la productividad y eficiencia en el centro. Para ello, se espera que pongas en marcha nuevos proyectos integrales de mejora que abarquen tanto los procesos operativos como el mantenimiento de los equipos. Después de la seguridad, la función más importante del puesto es dirigir a tu equipo y garantizar su rendimiento y desarrollo, lo cual implica la organización de cursos de formación.

Nuestro equipo de ingenieros de mantenimiento y fiabilidad (RME) se encarga de que nuestros sistemas funcionen a pleno rendimiento. Nos caracterizamos por nuestra gran aptitud técnica y nuestra excelente capacidad para el trabajo en equipo, liderados por unos responsables con gran experiência. Nuestro trabajo comprende el mantenimiento, la reparación y la solución de problemas relacionados con los equipos en toda nuestra red mundial de centros de distribución. El equipo cuenta con una serie de perfiles de dirección que se encargan de supervisar el desarrollo de tecnologías fascinantes, algunas de las cuales solo existen en Amazon.
Nuestro equipo se ocupa de la mayoría de los aspectos técnicos de Amazon, desempeñando tareas que van desde la instalación de sistemas automatizados de embalaje hasta la supervisión del mantenimiento general de un centro o la reparación de equipos clave de distribución. Esto incluye adaptar los edificios a la legislación vigente, para que todo el personal esté seguro y nuestras instalaciones funcionen con la mayor eficiencia posible. El equipo de RME, al igual que ocurre en otros departamentos de Amazon, ofrece numerosas oportunidades de progresar profesionalmente.
Todo nuestro trabajo gira en torno a reducir los periodos de inactividad en los centros de operaciones cruciales de Amazon, para que los clientes reciban sus pedidos a tiempo. Con frecuencia, trabajamos de madrugada o a altas horas de la noche para poder realizar las tareas de mantenimiento ocasionando las mínimas molestias, por lo que hacemos turnos nocturnos. Si descubrimos que hay una forma mejor de hacer algo, tenemos la capacidad y la posibilidad de desarrollar e introducir procesos totalmente nuevos o tecnología punta, como Amazon Robotics y nuestro clasificador de artículos complejos.
