Grow your career as an **Internal Auditor** within AMResorts, one of our 14 industry-leading brands. In this role you will be a member of a talented team of professionals whose purpose is to add value to the Company by partnering with the business and providing independent assurance services. You will be responsible for conducting audits of the organization's financial and operational processes, as well as other audit projects as assigned. team.

**A successful Internal Auditor will**:

- Assist the Internal Audit Manager / Senior in execution of the annual audit plan in accordance with the Audit methodology.
- Support the Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) project by preparing in-scope process documentation, preparing or updating risk matrices, performing walkthroughs and evaluating the effective implementation of key controls.
- Execute audit engagements of financial, compliance, and operational processes and controls.
- Execute fieldwork procedures by performing audit testing through inquiry, data analytics, observation and re-performance and documenting results in working papers.
- Identify the impact of audit findings on financial statements, operations and brand segments.
- Formulate well-written, concise and clear audit findings in the preparation of audit reports.
- Identify and effectively communicate audit observations/recommendations (verbally and/or in writing) to Management Stakeholders.
- Follow up and monitor the corrective actions proposed by the Company to determine their timely implementation.
- Complete other special projects as assigned.
- Maintain an attitude that fosters a state of independence and objectivity towards the activities evaluated and towards the organization.
- Comply with the Code of Professional Ethics, as well as with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing.

**A successful Internal Auditor will have**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Internal or External Audit.
- Native or Advanced Spanish and English language
- Knowledge of internal control evaluation (COSO-ERM-COBIT)
- Knowledge of ISA's, NIF's, GAAP and SOX
- Knowledge of the operation of the business units (Not essential)
- Knowledge of Dynamics accounting system (Not essential)

**Experience in**:

- Walkthroughs and understanding of processes
- Risk analysis
- Report writing (Spanish / English)
- Follow-up on implementation of action plans
