**Cyber Security Assurance Manager**

**What this position is about - Purpose**:
This position exists to ensure and maximise the effectiveness of the Red and Blue teams. The incumbent will be required to develop, implement and run a Purple Team framework to increase the effectiveness of the Red and Blue teams by providing assessments of security threats via hands-on exercises aimed at strengthening our defenses, our threat detection and incident response capability.

This position will play a vital role in keeping our teams ready against real world threats, and in focusing our security strategy.

**What will you do - Responsibilities**:

- This position will be required to serve as the driver of the execution of significant engagements to maximise the effectiveness of the Red (Offensive Team - TSC) and Blue teams (Security Operations Center). Establish measures on the performance and effectiveness of the engagements and establish and execute engagement methodologies and infrastructure. Supervise execution of vendor services tied to this engagements (if any vendor is in the scope)
- Create and design internal Attack Simulation (such as Table Top Exercise, Attack Simulation
- Exercise, Blue-Red Team Exercises) with intelligence led attack tactics, techniques and
- Procedure, thereafter ensuring resulting gaps identified are remediated with assistance from
- Offensive and Defensive teams
- Create vision and plans to continue to mature our purple teaming capabilities developing security roadmap in this regard
- Provide necessary support with new advance offensive capabilities to identify new possible security gaps (in case required) and identify possible improvements on Blue Team procedures and detection capabilities based on new tactics and techniques and continuous attack simulations
- Explore current security capabilties in place, security solutions configurations, current network and infrastructure status, and proactively identify detection gaps together with Defensive team and identify possible new attack vectors which could be used as part of new engagements with Offensive Team

**Who are we looking for - Requirements**:

- University degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field or relevant experience.
- 5 years of Technical Security management and experience in the IT environment of an international corporation.
- Experienced in setting up and managing Purple Teams.
- Proficient understanding of cyber and IT security risk, threat and preventive/detective measures.
- Good knowledge of security standards and best practices.
- Good understanding of the Cyber Kill Chain and the ability to display clear analytical skills.
- Excellent team leadership and communication skills. Analytical, organised and efficient.
- Fluent English written and spoken.
- Experienced in managing teams and projects in a global setup.
- Extensive knowledge of hacking and threat detection or monitoring techniques.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate technical details in a clear and understandable manner.
- Self-starter, self-motivated, and able to work independently while following the team’s mission.
