- technical teams such as product management is required, and your role will be to help guide them from a technical standpoint. The PPE Platforms Architecture team interacts with Customers, Business Units, Sales & Operations teams, and Technical Services during the lifecycle of a product or service, and you must be comfortable and experienced with all of these audiences.

Solutions within the PPE space are rapidly evolving to Cloud architectures so a key part of the role will require knowledge and experience of developing and managing solutions made up of multiple Vendors across multi-Cloud systems such as Private Cloud, On-Prem, VF Public Cloud and Vendor Public Cloud.

**Key accountabilities and decision ownership**:

- Accountability for the end results of own work area, specifically the System Architecture and Designs of the PPE Platform solutions delivered to meet Product demand and its alignment with Vodafone Enterprise Architecture To be achieved through leading and working effectively with internal and external stakeholders with competing priorities.
- Responsible for PPE Platform planning, budget, and policy formulation. Which requires detailed understanding of the financial dynamics of technology systems, product developments, partners and go to market strategies, to input to overall budgets. You will also be responsible for helping to defining department policies, such as ‘Do vs Buy’ and other key approaches.
- Establish cross departmental strategic plans and operational improvement programmes through working with diverse internal (Digital & IT, Networks, Operations and Vodafone Business) and external stakeholders (Partners, Suppliers).
- Lead on external discussions with potential partners or suppliers of capability for the PPE Platform. Develop and maintain working relationship for the joint success of both parties.

**What you bring**:

- Industry knowledge, along with Architecture, design, and deployment experience of delivering products, their associated operating model for Fixed Connectivity, Cloud, MPN, IoT & UC, along with the underlying platforms and Infrastructure.
- Industry knowledge, along with Architecture, design, and deployment experience of delivering complex solutions including: OSS and BSS tools, systems, and their integration, Next generation Commercial and Open-source orchestration Assurance capabilities. Nice to have Relevant industry standards such as TMF and ONAP
- Experienced in leading and motivating technical teams.
- Exceptional Communication and negotiation skills and experience, Able to communicate complex technical information to less technical senior managers
