**Digital Banking Europe, Strategy & Operations Leader **- Madrid, Spain**

In this new and unique role, reporting directly into the Head of Digital Bank Europe you will be responsible for driving the overall success of our digital
- to-digital operations for the new pan-European Ecosystem:
**Role Responsibilities**
- Preparing, implementing, and embedding an operational plan in line with the Digital Bank strategic vision and the wider Western Union strategy.
- Planning, monitoring, and developing operational delivery, designing and implementing of key performance indicators and tracking of progress against plan.
- Providing support for the launch of digital banking across new countries and subsequent growth initiatives with Country Leaders.
- Leadership of digital banking growth initiatives within the broader Western Union entity, liaising with regional teams.
- Collaborating across our four key pillars - Growth, Product, Engineering and Operations to ensure success of the hub.
- Managing key partnerships with vendors and third parties to ensure smooth delivery and operations across Europe.

**Role Requirements**
- You will have worked in the consulting space, and within a start-up/scale up organization.
- Significant experience leading operations in digital, payments and/or retail banking is also essential.
- Previous experience of agile working methodologies is desirable along with strong digital analytical skills.
- Experience in managing complex projects and working with cross-functional teams, customer centric and hands-on mindset.
- Strong business acumen with a proven track record of delivering results through innovation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
