**Director of Engineering**

- You will support their post-acquisition integration phase and lead key activities for successful delivery of the D2C journey.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Defining and driving a vision and road map for the business
- Managing support for existing and new products and services
- Defining strategic investments for technology and managing the portfolio’s overall budget
- Scaling up and industrialize the software development processes to deliver products enhancements and new solutions at scale
- Collaborating with Product Directors to align on the strategic directions and maintain a pipeline of demands for digital solutions, prioritize them, and drive their rollout and deployment globally
- Defining an automation testing strategy for their apps and products and lead its implementation
- Defining DevSecOps strategy for their apps and products and be accountable for its implementation
- Being Accountable for audits remediations and risks mitigations
- Owning the sourcing strategy for the technology area and execute on the hiring plans for ramping up and growing the current tech teams
- Driving the activities of post-acquisition to fully integration i.e systems integration, tools migration, processes adoptions, etc.
- Creating an environment of continuous improvement through mentoring, feedback, and coaching

**What you’ll need to be successful**:

- Broad engineering background and deep experience leading full-stack teams in mobile development on both iOS and Android in the D2C space
- Proven success developing and delivering complex, scalable, and highly reliable solutions.
- Prior experience as a Director of Engineering at an established, high-growth technology company. Ideally you have served as an engineering leader in a successful, dynamic startup (startup experience is highly desired).
- Strong experience in Scrum/Agile and an interest in helping the team develop agreements and processes around that methodology.
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies and software engineering methodologies
- Relevant experience in managing and mentoring SW engineering teams in a complex and matrix organization as well as in building relationships with senior stakeholders
- Prior experience in managing OPEX and CAPEX investments
- Experience in working with multinational, multicultural, and distributed teams;
