**the Digestive Tract**.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Education and qualifications**:
**Required: -**

Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences (Biology, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Biotechnology) and Master.
- Proven experience in digestive diseases research (Irritable Bowell Syndrome).
- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English (business level)

**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required: -**

At least 3 years of experience working in the field of Neuro-Immune-Gastrointestinal diseases.
- Expertise in molecular biology (WB, qRT-PCR, ELISA) and histological techniques (IHQ and IF).
- Expertise in cell culture (transwells, TEER, LDH )

**Main responsibilities and duties: -**

Give support in laboratory techniques, collection and processing of biological samples (blood, biopsies, urine..).
- In vitro experiments on epithelial cell lines to study epithelial permeability.
- Analysis of results from molecular biology experiments (QRT-PCR), and in vitro studies.
- Preparation of scientific manuscripts.
- Generate and manage sample database.

**Labour conditions: -**

Full-time: 40h/week.
- Starting date: immediate 01/04/2023
- Gross annual salary 23.064,09 euros
- Contract**:_temporary 2 month_
