**Job Purpose**

To collaborate in managing and optimizing the relationships with OEM and powerplant vendors, ensuring cost
efficiency, performance reliability, and compliance with contractual obligations. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in database management (SQL/AMOS), and familiarity with Python and Skywise to support data-driven
decision-making and continuous improvement in maintenance operations.

**Main Accountabilities**

Cost-saving initiatives: Identify and lead the implementation of costsaving initiatives with OEM and powerplant vendors.

Supplier Negotiation and Management: Execute business cases supporting savings initiatives or the awarding of contracts to specific vendors.

Contract Management: enforce compliance from the suppliers on the
contractual obligations on the contracts under Specialist management

Supplier Performance and Compliance: Monitor and report on savings initiatives and cost variances to the Head of Vendor Management - Maintenance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with departments such as Operations, Finance, and IAG GBS Procurement to align vendor management strategies with overall company goals.

Technical Expertise and Data Analysis: Utilize SQL/AMOS, Python, and Skywise for data analysis and management to drive information.

Analyze performance and maintenance needs and transfer them to suppliers and maintenance contracts.

Suppliers,Operations, Maintenance, Finance, Fleet, IAG GBS Procurement.

**Education**

Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a related field.

**Experience**

At least 3 years of experience in the Maintenance Department of an airline,
ideally with supplier management & powerplant experience
Experience in cost analysis and strategic planning.
Proven track record of managing and improving supplier performance.

**Competencies**

Advanced proficiency AMOS.
Proficiency in SQL/Python.
Familiarity with Skywise.
Strong analytical and data management skills.
Basic know-how about finance concepts and terminology

English C1
