A position as **Production Engineer for structural conversion **has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in **Getafe **(Madrid).

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Support production activities related to MRTT conversion.
- Follow the schedule and search continuous improvement with the planning and production control department in order to reduce lead time.
- Follow the Job Cards instructions and MI task associated with continuous improvement.
- Accomplish the level of quality required reducing the cost of non-quality.
- Organize the different task and the subcontractors in order to achieve a high level of efficiency.
- Accomplish the conversion tasks with in stablished budget and all proposal to reduce cost when possible.
- Manage a multifunctional team with different departments and partners.
- Manage the incidence generated at shop floor level and control their flow.
- Contributes to Production excellence by managing and leading the Production tools (lean, Quest, etc.).
- Contributes to staff improvement expertise by increasing their capabilities and skills.
- Work shift in double shift.

**SKILLS**
- Education: Aeronautical or Industrial engineering degree level (or equivalent) or a related discipline.
- Experience: At least 3 years in one or more the following activities: Production, Engineering manufacturing, Production Control & Planning, Production Improvement.
- Languages: High level in English and advanced level in Spanish.
- Knowledge in SIPLA, Digital Bar Chart, SNT, DEMAT, CATIA.
- Soft skills: Team player, good communication skills and proactive mindset, experience in managing people and conflicts.
