Technical Writer

**Job description**

What will you do?

As a part of the Software Translation and Documentation team, you will work with the development teams to deliver world-class product documentation and translation for manufacturing customers in the metal industry globally.

You will have the opportunity to:

- Manage the translation of all software texts and documentation
- Perform detailed QA checks on delivered translations.
- Manage terminology of software texts
- Test and perform QA assurance
- Supervise and manage external partners providing technical documentation or translation to ensure expected quality
- Collect and implement end users’ feedback
- Create global writing guidelines and style guides for the engineering teams
- Create a global glossary for the Smart Factory products
- Translate, revise, and suggest improvements to the software texts
- Manage consistency in source content and translations across all products
- Manage the sheet metal terminology in close cooperation with Subject Matter Experts
