**What are we looking for?**

We are looking for a data focused Business Analyst to join the Global Data Solutions Team. The Global Data Solutions team is a technology team with a broad remit to source, master, validate and distribute data to support Our Client’s Asset Management business.

The team delivers to multiple business areas within the organisation; one day it’ll be front office, the next day regulatory, and the following day private assets. The team is needed for almost every change project within the client, we’re delivering into 30+ projects in 2021 and managing 15+ of our own.

This is not an ordinary BA role. An Agile Analyst is responsible for owning and managing the work items assigned to them; working with business and technology stakeholders directly and coordinating with internal developers and testers. You will be involved at every stage of the software development lifecycle.

**Main tasks and accountabilities will be**:

- Building the foundation for the development effort by capturing the business context (problem curren state, desired future state, objetives, business needs and impacted user group)
- Developing requirements (business, user and software requirements, functional and non functional) and establishin traceability to the business vision
- Managing the requirements through the project lifecycle by establishing and maintining agreements between the customer and the project team
- Playing a critical communications role by interacting with user and with developers and testing personnel
- Ensuring the requirements are specified in a manner suitable for the intended audience and are understandable, unambiguous and capable of being implemented and tested
- Ability to navigate the IT team and business sponsors through a level of ambiguity including business process change, building organization and structure to requirements to drive out and define detailed requirements in an efficient manner
- Working with the project manager and the business customer to define requirements stakeholders, requirements conflict resolution prodedures and the requirements team structure
- Understanding the software development approach being used and defining how the requirements development will be conducted (i.e elicitacion, analysis, specification and validation)
- Proficient requirement; meeting facilitator, demonstrated experience

in facilitating sessions using techniques to help define scope and requirements during the lifecycle
- Writing and reviewing business, user and non functional/system level requirements in the form of use cases, and other similar structured requirements documentation
- Responsible for ensuring change control and change management procedures are followed within the project team as they relate to requirements
- Understanding the business case and project scope
- Ensuring that quality business analysis standards are met as prescribed by IT Services through the effective implementation or use of approved processes, methodologies and deliverables

**What UST expects from you?**
- 2 to 5 years in a corporate IT environment
- 3 to 5 yeas experience in Agile and or Iterative software development methodologies
- Business analysis role with personal accountability for delivering and managing requirements to time and cost for ptojects
- Deep experience with agile software development projects, in lead role helping to deliver User Stories, Test Scenarios
- Helpful to have experience with Lean or similar approaches to business transformation
- Demonstrated experience writing and reviewing business, user and non functional/system level requirements
- Comfortable dealing with difficult stakeholders and opinionated developers and architect during facilitated sessions and during the development lifecycle
- Adept at getting sign off of business requirements from user community
- Experience of relationships with lead customer staff
- Development and deployment of formal business analysis methods and tools to govern and control programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated skills and experience in working with virtual and geographically dispersed teams to develop software
- Expected to be self-driven and motivated
- Good english level (B2-C1).

**Work Location**

100% remote from Spain.

**Work schedule**

Business Hours. No intensive working days for friday or summer.
