**Role Overview**:
As a Solutions Engineer at NexGen, you will be responsible for working closely with the sales team and leveraging your technical expertise to support the sales process. Your primary objective will be to understand customer requirements, articulate the value proposition of NexGen's solutions, and demonstrate how they align with client needs. By effectively engaging with potential customers, you will play a pivotal role in driving successful sales conversions and revenue growth.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Understand Customer Needs: Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer pain points, challenges, and requirements. Conduct in-depth discussions and gather necessary information to gain a comprehensive understanding of the client's business objectives.
- Solution Presentations: Develop and deliver compelling presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) to showcase NexGen's solutions. Customize presentations based on customer requirements, emphasizing the unique value and benefits of NexGen's offerings.
- Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of NexGen's products, services, and technologies. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, ensuring the ability to effectively communicate the technical aspects of NexGen's solutions to potential clients.
- Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business executives, technical decision-makers, and influencers within target organizations. Develop a consultative approach to address customer concerns, provide expert guidance, and position NexGen as a trusted advisor.
- Proposal Development: Collaborate with the sales team to develop high-quality proposals, responses to RFPs (Request for Proposal), and other sales collateral. Tailor proposals to address specific customer requirements and align them with NexGen's capabilities.
- Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify key differentiators and positioning strategies for NexGen's solutions. Keep track of competitor activities, strengths, and weaknesses, and effectively communicate NexGen's advantages to potential clients.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and engineering, to ensure effective communication and coordination. Provide feedback from customer interactions to contribute to the product roadmap and enhance overall customer satisfaction.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Proven experience in a pre-sales or technical sales role, preferably in the software, IT, or technology industry.
- Strong technical background and familiarity with infrastructure, software development processes, cloud computing, data analytics, or related technologies.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset, with the ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets and exceed customer expectations.
