Our client is a company, based in **Las Palmas, Spain** specializing in the development of sports betting software, focused on the UK and South African markets.

We are looking for an experienced **QA Automation Engineer **to join their ranks and help them grow.

**Core + Flexible Working Schedule**
**Core hours**:09:00** - **12:30** AND **14:00** - **15:30** (All employees must be on duty during these).
**Flexible hours**: the rest of the working hours (3 per day) could be done anytime between **07:00** - **19:00**, based on your preference, as long as you have 8 total by the end of the day.

Job Description**
Responsibilities**:

- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts).
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.

**Qualifications**:

- 3 years of professional experience with at least one scripting language.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/another related field or relevant work experience.
- Previous work experience with a relational database system e.g. MySQL.
- Knowledge of SQL scripts and database administration.
- Experience with designing and developing automation, Web Testing, Web Services testing.
- Knowledge of DevOps and Agile to utilize automation ad run test suites as part of CI environments.

Additional Information**
Our client offers**:

- Annual salary between **40 - 50k EUR/gross**, (based on your experience and performance throughout the recruitment process).
- Work Visa that will enable you to live and be employed at Las Palmas, Spain.
- One-way Travel ticket to Las Palmas.
- Provided suitable accommodation (fully furnished apartment) for the 1st month, upon arrival. After that you will have to cover your own rent (rents are cheap and vary between 400 and 700 EUR per month).
- Fully covered Private Medical Insurance (dental included) for you and your children. (A spouse can also be included, but it would cost 48€ per person and it will be deducted from the salary).
