As a Robotics Engineer will solve robotics development challenges that are the foundation for the next industrial revolution. You will work in international teams to push our organization to the next level and deliver complex technical and safe solutions to our customers. You will be based in Burgos (Spain), a city known as the European capital of mobile robotics, where you will be the nerve center for the innovation of new AMR technologies, and you will develop cutting-edge products and safety concepts, such as new generation mobile industrial robots. **Your responsibilities**:

- Works as an independent and reliable contributor in R&D projects, requiring only limited supervision.
- Demonstrates solid technical proficiency in own area of competence and embraces best practices.
- Performs a variety of tasks in the assigned area (e.g. mechanics, electronics, thermal, software), from concepts and requirements through design, implementation, integration, and testing, to technology transfer or maintenance and operations.
- Demonstrates the ability to independently recognize problems and provide input to solutions.
- Stays abreast of the state of the art (industry/academia) in own competence area as well as new and evolving technologies.
- Actively applies this knowledge and goes beyond as required.
- Understands the key drivers for ABB in own business/technology area in order to make judgments and contribute to results.
- Understands how to create customer value and works to increase customer satisfaction. Knows the relevant ABB products and technologies and related R&D activities.

**Your background**:

- Informatics Engineer, Industrial Engineer.
- Recommended experience in the AMR sector. Recommended Master in Robotics.
- Programming languages: Python, Javascript+, C++, C#.
- PLC programing: Codesys, Step 7, iec 1131.
- Frontend: angular, ionic, reacjs.
- Knowledge of ROS.
- Web: html5, CSS3, PHP.
- Operating systems: Windows, Linux.
- Knowledge of embedded systems and real-time systems.
- Knowledge of database SQL (SQL lite, SQL Server, Oracle).
- Demonstrated knowledge In Agile Software projects techniques.
- Spanish and English languages (required).
