**Job Description**:
An Azure Architect within SGS is a professional responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions based on Microsoft Azure. They possess a deep understanding of Azure services and infrastructure, and they leverage their knowledge and expertise to create scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures that meet the needs of businesses.

**More Specifically, You Will**
- Cloud Solution Design: analyze business requirements and translate them into effective cloud solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their goals, identify technical challenges, and design architectures that align with best practices and industry standards. Consider factors such as scalability, availability, performance, security, and cost optimization.
- Infrastructure Deployment: Responsible for deploying and configuring Azure resources and services to support the cloud solution design. Leverage knowledge of Azure services, such as virtual machines, storage accounts, networking components, and database services, to implement the required infrastructure.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize the performance of Azure solutions by analyzing system performance metrics, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing performance-enhancing strategies. Leverage Azure monitoring and diagnostic tools to monitor the health and performance of cloud environments and make necessary adjustments.
- Collaboration and Consulting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations personnel, and business stakeholders, to ensure successful solution implementation. Provide technical guidance and consulting services to project teams, assisting them in leveraging Azure capabilities effectively.
- Documentation and Training: Document the cloud architectures, deployment procedures, and operational guidelines for future reference. Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate team members and stakeholders on Azure best practices, architecture patterns, and security measures.

**Qualifications**:

- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, and security components.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other relevant tools.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures and integration patterns.
- Understanding of cloud security principles and experience implementing security controls in Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly desirable.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and tools like Azure DevOps
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; other languages are a plus (French, Portuguese, and Spanish in particular).
