Our group is looking to hire a Predoctoral Researcher to join our lab right away contributing to one of our lines of research on the study of multiple sclerosis pathogenesis and search for new therapeutic approaches.

**Education and qualifications**:
**Required**:

- Degree in health sciences (e.g., biology, pharmacy, biochemistry, veterinary medicine, etc.)
- An official university Master's degree leading to a doctorate
- Animal research experimentation licence (levels B, C and D)
- A cut-off mark of at least 7.5, both in the degree and the Master’s degree
- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish and English (communication skills and fluency in both written and spoken)

**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required**:

- An organized and methodical person with high motivation and initiative
- Previous experience of at least 6 months in a research laboratory, in addition to the Bachelor's and Master's theses

**Desired**:

- Experience in flow cytometry, histopathological studies, cell culture and molecular biology techniques.

**Main responsibilities and duties**:

- Design of the experiments.
- Be responsible for and perform the experiments (development and follow-up of the animal model, flow cytometry, histopathological studies, cell culture and molecular biology techniques).
- Statistical analysis and interpretation of the data.
- Collaboration in the writing of scientific articles.

**Labour conditions**:

- Full-time position: 40h/week
- Starting date: January 2025
- Gross annual salary: It will depend on the grant call in which the funding is obtained. First year 19000€, second and third year 20000€, and fourth year 24500€ (Salary is consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
- Contract: Temporary. One year, extendable up to four years
