PayRetailers is a payment gateway designed to handle mass online payments to the Latin American market. The company combines local markets expertise with payment technology enabling global merchants to successfully expand their business into high growth, emerging markets while eliminating the many operational complexities of managing cross-border payments.

We are looking for a Global Head of Tax to be based in our Headquarters in Barcelona to continue with the development of the Group Tax Strategy. His/her responsibilities include developing solutions for potential tax issues, keeping abreast of new developments in tax legislation, and informing staff of new legislative developments. Also, being able to advice on tax planning, tax research and tax compliance.

**Job Duties And Responsibilities**:

- Responsible of global tax planning
- Be the tax lead for legal entity rationalization.
- Execute due diligence reviews of the different subsidiaries.
- Be involved in the international tax planning process including business expansion activities and transfer pricing strategies.
- Be involved in post-closing reorganization activities.
- Tax research and plan to minimize tax burden, while considering various business scenarios, working on projects to maintain and reduce the Company's effective tax rate and taxes paid.
- Liaise with cross functional business leaders on tax impacts to departments.
- Review global income tax provisions for multiple entities and jurisdictions and deferred tax asset/liability calculations.
- Provide support for international income tax compliance.
- Manage global indirect tax compliance.
- Manage tax audit and enquires.
- Advise management of the impact of new tax laws and proposed legislation.

**Experience And Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Law required.
- Master in Taxation and/or International Taxation required.
- Advanced level of English (C1 or C2).
- 10+ years of corporate tax experience with an international focus
- Strong leadership, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Teamwork skills, easy to work with, being able to get agreements with internal collaborators.
- Willingness to work in a fast-growing company working environment and adapt to changes fast.
- Able to manage multiple complex projects and deliver in a timely manner.
- Bring valuable M&A and integration experience.
- Solid knowledge local and international tax regulations and reporting.
- Strong understanding of tax environment.
- Previous experience in Big4 or Top10 tax firms will be a plus.
