Presales Engineer

This role has been designated as ‘Office’, which means you will primarily work from an HPE office.

As a Experienced Presales Engineer you will be part of a Presales Engineer Team covering the french market from the HPE International Office in Barcelona, Spain. You will create, propose and demonstrate infrastructure solutions based on computing, storage, software and networking technologies.

**How you'll make your mark**
- Contribute to the creation of technical propositions by participating in deep-dive discussions and translate the technical view into the implementation view, while meeting customer requirements.
- Help the account team with proposal creation by providing product advice and presenting the unique value of the company’s products to customer and how the products contribute to the customer´s business goals.
- Contribute and supports the request for proposal (RFP) and request for information (RFI) process by coordinating information gathering from various teams and partners. Assist with customer communications, as needed.
- Create, develop and maintain technical solution catalogues for customers.
- Monitor the sales opportunity pipeline and assists sales teams to drive the sales process from initiation to closure.
- Contribute to technical transfer of knowledge to peers and sales colleagues.

**_ About You_**
- Native french speaker, proficient in English.
- Bachelor or Master degree in areas like computer science, networking, electrical or mechanical engineering, instrumentation and measurement.
- 3+ years of experience in technology industry with focus on technical consulting and solution selling.
- Demonstrates some hands-on-level skills in assigned area of specialization.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates hands-on-level skills in assigned area of specialization.
- Understanding of current trends, competitor products and strategies in computing, storage, networking and software infrastructures.
- Effective consultative selling techniques, including active listening, framing, white boarding, storytelling etc.
- Industry technical certification like HPE ATP, VMware VCTA, Cisco CCNA.
