You will report to the European Wire Harness Advanced Purchasing Manager in the Purchasing team at Valls.

**Responsibilities**:

- BOM costs for RFQs and Running business
- Represent the purchasing organization in the project team
- Cascade down Project Meeting Activities (volume milestones, targets, financial capacity checks) to Commodity Buyers and Supply Base
- Coordinate sourcing activities with commodity and program team, ensure quality, price, timing are met
- Track and monitor project material costs to meet financial goals, update roadmaps and track action plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize designs, identify and present material cost reductions (SCTOs) to improve cost structure
- Providing all purchasing program metrics by program milestones
- Providing programmatic data to Commodity Purchasing to ensure effective negotiation and deployment of commodity strategy in new and ongoing projects to support savings targets
- Deploy a project-based commodity sourcing strategy
- Support of plants in matters of logistics or quality

**Requirements**:

- Degree in engineering, economics or supply chain
- Fluency in English, German is an advantage
- 1 year of experience in the automotive sector or project management
- Problem solving and analytical, proactive and continuous improvement mindset
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- High level of independent judgment, initiative, creativity and oversight of multiple projects
- Computer literate, Excel Advance user
- Ability to work under pressure, with organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
