At **Global Alumni**, the first Euro-American EdTech, we have successfully broken down physical and language barriers, bringing knowledge and prestige from some of the world’s best universities to any professional in a digital, globalized, and ever-changing environment. As education shifts to online and hybrid formats, we are aligned with universities’ needs to create and develop digital content for their postgraduate courses in six different languages. We also offer higher education institutions marketing services for these programs, and manage with great care the learning experience of thousands of participants every year.
We are seeking a skilled editor to join our Translation and Editing department. Y**our main tasks will be**:
- Perform orthotypographic and stylistic correction of educational texts in English.
- Implement changes recommended by external technical experts.
- Provide guidelines to internal collaborators.
- Facilitate and distribute materials to academic managers, designers, and audiovisual editors.
- Carry out cultural adaptations and collaborate with translators in content localization.
- Conduct quality controls and prepare correction reports.
- Participate in project coordination and follow-up meetings.
- Provide support in drafting and correcting promotional texts.

**Requirements**:
**We are looking for someone who**:
- is an English native speaker (the job involves working mainly in American English, occasionally in British English) and has an advanced level of Spanish.
- has editing and proof reading experience and abilities
- has experience in editing various types of work: lessons, instructions, presentations, scripts, and subtitling videos / reviewing subtitles in English.
- knows APA format and Chicago Style (desirable)
- knows Amara platform or other video subtitling platform
- is flexible and adaptable
- manages time and tasks independently while coordinating with other teams and departments that make requests.
