YOUR ROLE
The Solution Architect is responsible for designing and implementing robust and scalable solutions for the FVL platform using AWS cloud services, containerization technologies like Docker and AWS Fargate, data analytics tools such as Amazon Athena and Amazon Redshift, MongoDB Atlas for NoSQL databases, monitoring systems like Amazon CloudWatch, and GitLab CI/CD for continuous integration and deployment. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, designing architectural solutions, and providing technical guidance to ensure the successful delivery of the digital platform
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Architectural Design: Develop and design the overall architecture for the digital platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance using AWS services, Docker, and other relevant technologies.
- Solution Development: Collaborate with development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, providing guidance on best practices, system integrations, and optimal use of AWS services.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Design and deploy cloud infrastructure on AWS, including networking, security, storage, and compute resources, leveraging services such as EC2, S3, VPC, and IAM.
- Data Management: Design and implement data storage and management solutions using Amazon Athena for querying data, Amazon Redshift for data warehousing, and MongoDB Atlas for NoSQL databases.
- Monitoring and Performance: Implement monitoring and performance optimization strategies using Amazon CloudWatch, ensuring high availability and efficient resource utilization.
- Automation: Set up and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring continuous integration and delivery of software components.
- Security and Compliance: Incorporate security and compliance requirements into the architecture and design, implementing best practices (and CMA group policies) for data protection, access control, and regulatory compliance.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, conducting code reviews, resolving technical challenges, and promoting best practices.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Bachelor degree in IT or Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5 years experience in a similar position
- Excellent people and project management skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English and fluent in French
