Devops Engineer (Remote)

**The Role**

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of the SUSE Rancher Engineering and Infrastructure Organisation, and be tasked with integrating and automating the work of software development and IT operations.

**Focus Areas**
- Administrating Linux servers and containers (Scripting and automation skills)
- Maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration management in a containerized environment
- Setting up and maintaining Application Performance monitoring and observability tools
- Setting up and maintaining automation and CI/CD with GitHub Actions
- Troubleshooting Infrastructure issues
- Writing documentations for the team and stakeholders
- Learning and sharing knowledge on new technologies

**Preferred Experience & Skills**
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication in English
- Experience with open source development
- Experience working within a distributed team
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Terraform or other automation tools
- Experience working with cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.).
- Experience in managing stakeholders relationships at the technical and business level.
- Programming experience using Python, Ruby, Rust or Go
