We are looking for a : Demand Planner

RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL:
Reporting to the Demand Planning Manager facilitates the cost-effective flow of materials and products from suppliers to customers through the manufacturing and distribution network in accordance with company policies.

This position is responsible for forecasting activities associated with customers and products. The Planner creates and maintains forecast models for their product line and customers by incorporating business intelligence from sales, marketing, and finance. The Planner is the key liaison between Customers, Sales & the internal supply planning team. This position leads the dialogue periodically for their respective customers and products with key counterparts in Sales and Marketing, delivering a high-quality SKU volume forecast through the monthly Demand Planning process and to continuously improve performance of key metrics such as forecast accuracy, bias and service levels.

**DUTIES**:
Baseline forecast generation; run analyses on historical data and "clean" events, collect & agree baseline assumptions with input from commercial teams, run and evaluate statistical forecasting models. Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function. Responsible for enriching base forecasts with 'special events' (eg; marketing campaigns, etc..) based on inputs from marketing, sales, customer collaboration and customers. Lead cross-functional meetings to reconcile variances and refine the forecast model with updated sales and marketing assumptions for a rolling 12 month horizon. Lead monthly demand review with sales and marketing teams, reaching a consensus demand plan. Contribute to improvements to ways of working within the Demand planning and the EU Operations team. Acts as main contact point for JCH Factories ensuring correct cadence and communication flow is achieved in a successful manner, and Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs as well as to drive procurement optimization and efficiencies through the business in line with European and regional initiatives Supports the development and maintenance of the sourcing metrics and scorecards, based on analysis of reports and consolidated data. Monitors sourcing KPI’s and drives them into actions. Continue expand knowledge of the S&OP processes and ideally be a key user within the Demand. Contributes in driving operational excellence when translating business strategies & decisions into effective & compliant execution of all related policies and processes. Identifies best business practices via finance / business performance benchmarking and facilitates the implementation of these practices, maximizing its standardization across the region by supporting in creation and implementation of processes (ex. Playbook). Keeps abreast with Corporate policies, projects and initiatives. Acts as SME for assigned area and provides accurate input & feedback when policies / guidelines are designed or reviewed. Performs related duties as necessary.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, industrial engineering or related.
- Supply chain master’s degree (a plus).
- Minimum a year of experience in a Demand Planning role.
- In Depth understanding of S&OP principles.
- Experienced with ERP and Planning Tools.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
- Strong data analytics skills, able to produce, interpret and draw conclusions from data.
- Strong agility, taking responsibility/making decisions in uncertain environments.
- Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
- Experienced with other software packages including Windows, and Microsoft Office, Power BI (a plus).
- Fluent professional English level is a must. French and other languages are a plus.
