We at PRONOVIAS GROUP, Global leader in the Bridal industry with headquarters in Barcelona, are currently looking for a professional and talented **Junior Finance Controller (Consolidation & Reporting)** to join our **Finance Team**. **Role & responsibilities**:
- Assist in the definition, optimisation and supervision of the budget and cost control reporting by hub and channel.
- Assist in setting up forecasts and budgets according to short/mid/long term business plans.
- Assist in the preparation of material to be presented in the investment committee.
- Assist in the monthly closing activities, including the review of key provisions, validation of the consolidation tool and the preparation of P&Ls.
- Produce monthly cost reports to be shared with heads of share services functions.
- Develop a strong understanding of business activities in order to explain variances in performance versus expectations.
- Assist in the continued digital transformation of the consolidation and reporting function.
- Provide management with relevant financial analysis to contribute to the performance of the business.
- Proactively contribute to maintaining and improving a robust and rigorous internal control environment.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Big4 accounting firm or focused in business analysis roles from similar industries.
- Degree in Finance/BA/Economics plus a master’s degree desirable.
- Business level in Spanish and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables / macros / visual basic / modelling).
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Resourceful and proactive attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure towards meeting deadlines. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
